1. Rail gnawing caused by inaccurate installation position of wheel
(1) The horizontal deviation of the wheel is too large. This is one of the common reasons for bridge crane wheel gnawing rail. The horizontal deviation is too large, so that the center line of the wheel rolling surface and the center line of the rail form a included Angle, the crane to a direction, the wheel edge gnawed one side of the rail; When the crane travels in the opposite direction, the same wheel rim gnaws the other side of the rail, and the position of the gnaw rail is not fixed. When the wheel is installed, the horizontal deviation should not be greater than L/1000(L is the measured length on the wheel), and the deflection direction of a pair of wheels on the same axis should be opposite, otherwise the wheel will inevitably chew the rail.
(2) The vertical deviation of the wheel is too large. That is, the center line of the wheel end face forms an Angle with the plumb line, and the wheel is in a inclined state. In this case, the rolling surface of the wheel and the rail tread contact area becomes smaller, and the pressure per unit area increases, so the wear of the rolling surface of the wheel will be uneven, serious, in the rolling surface of the wheel will form ring wear ditch. The characteristics of wheel gnawing rail in this case are that the wheel rim always gnawing rail on the same side, that is, the side of the wheel tilt, and the gnawing rail trace is slightly lower than the general case, the crane often hiss in the process of operation. When the wheel is installed, the vertical deviation of the wheel should not be greater than L/400, and the upper part of the wheel should be outward. Rail gnawing caused by wheel vertical deviation refers to the active wheel, and has nothing to do with the passive wheel.
(3) wheel pitch, diagonal, the same track on the two wheels linearity is bad, will also cause the crane wheel gnaw rail. These cases are characterized by wear on both sides of the rail and the rim of the wheel.
