Release time:2020-02-13
Currently, the National Crane Center is focused on research into energy-efficient crane applications. By establishing joint research teams, the center continuously strengthens its technical collaborations with industry partners. In balancing the relationship between businesses and academia, the center not only directly addresses companies' needs for technological innovation but also emphasizes guiding and inspiring their own innovative aspirations, actively exploring unique new pathways for research and development.
The center has established a project team for energy-efficient bridge cranes, covering the industry's upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. After nearly two years of dedicated progress, the energy-efficient bridge crane project has successfully developed 32t、50t Serialized double-beam products, 10t、5t、16t、20t Research on the series-produced single-beam products continues to advance steadily. As the project aligns perfectly with the transformation and upgrading needs of small- and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, the targeted nature of the developed products has earned them strong market appeal.
While advancing the lightweight design and R&D of complete machines, the center has also made its first attempt at researching energy-saving components by establishing the project team for "Key Technology Research on Graphene Supercapacitors for Energy Efficiency in Lifting Machinery." This project takes graphene supercapacitors as its breakthrough point, leveraging an energy-feedback mechanism to explore advanced control strategies for graphene capacitor charging and discharging—ultimately aiming to power crane systems efficiently. Given that this initiative is poised to unlock the industrial application of graphene, a cutting-edge material, in the energy-storage sector, it has successfully drawn in several leading companies from the electronics industry, including Haiborun Electronic Technology Wuxi Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Inovance Technology Co., Ltd.
