The 300-million-yuan wind turbine blade production project of Zhongfu Lianzhong Composite Materials Co., Ltd. (Baotou), located in Baotou Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park, successfully broke ground on the 16th. The project spans 246 acres and boasts a total investment of 300 million yuan. It is expected to begin operations by the end of September. Once completed, the facility will have an annual production capacity of 500 sets of blades tailored for 1.5 MW wind turbine generators, supporting an installed capacity of 600,000 kW per year. The project is projected to generate sales worth 800 million yuan and create employment opportunities for 500 people.
The commencement of construction on this project marks the emergence of a wind-power equipment manufacturing industry chain—and an associated industrial cluster—integrating technology R&D, equipment production, turbine assembly, and wind farm investment within the Baotou Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park.
